Rockfest 2007 – The Fireworks

At the end of the festival that is Rockfest, there was a pretty cool fireworks display right over the Liberty Memorial. As Marcus and I were high-tailing it out of the park, we weren’t able to catch all of it. Rockfest 2007 – Breaking Benjamin

Breaking Benjamin played the Main Stage at Rockfest 2007 and was VERY well received.  This was the MAIN band that Marcus went to see.  He actually made it up to the front rail for the show.  I believe he also regrets that move somewhat, lol.  If he had worn shoes that would have protected his feet, if he had been a bit younger, etc. he would have enjoyed it more.  As it was, it was combat style!

Anyway, these guys tore through all their main hits such as Breathe and Diary of Jayne.  They also tacked on a fantastic cover of Hurt from Nine Inch Nails.  The singer has a rather incredible voice and he uses it in a multitude of ways, from growls to high sustained notes.

The video below is one of the better ones I have found.  Sure, it is further from the stage, but you can see it, and the sound quality is fairly outstanding.  Check it out!
