I came across an interesting post on Boing Boing a few minutes ago. It sounds like The Discovery Channel’s stores are closing in September. In case you aren’t familiar with these stores, they specialize in, well, they have a wide variety of stuff. From telescopes and fossils to desk fountains and zen gardens, you are likely to find just about anything there. Honestly, it is one of my favorite places, even though I haven’t shopped there for a while.
So, if you are in the market for some discounted “earthy” stuff, go get it while they are still open!
